  1. Hey Sweetie!
    Right here goes......
1)Laura Coxeter - chocolatier, artist, health promoter. You take a bowl and add....some healthy, raw ingredients, a magical idea, a pinch of health knowledge, a dab of love, a touch of class and some passion for vitality....voila! Amazing raw treats are born :-)

    2) I would class your products as a luxury health food! If they were sold here in Newcastle I'd probably treat myself to a bit of luxury every week ;-) And I think they make amazing gifts - gifts of friendship and heart shaped wedding favours here I come! (well one day!)

3)When looking at chocolate gifts....I'd say both price and packaging are a consideration. I loved the little brown boxes you used recently as they are recyclable. With your little sticker on the top, I thought it summed you up nicely - raw, eco-friendly and classy :-)

4)I like minimal - the mini Laura on the labels is just right in terms of detail.

5)Hmmmm.....as a first time buyer of your products I'd probably like to see the product. Your prodcts are so pretty that visibility through the packaging may enhance their appeal as a gift to people that aren't usually into raw food.

    6) I'd give that a 5. The thing that makes your products special (apart from the amazing taste) is down to what does and doesn't go into them.

7)I'm more likely to pay more for a product if the packaging is a bit more luxurious, although, I loved your little brown boxes :-)

8)Both! One for me, one for a friend :-) And I tend to savour your creations - they're so special. If they were sold up north, I'd definately but them as a snack if a choccie craving did strike!

9)Biodegradable/recyclable packaging definately appeals to me

    10)yes :-)

    11)yep!

12)Hmmm....well I'm not just saying this but my three faves come from your line 1-the mulberry/walnut choc, 2-rose pistacchio fudge 3-goji coconut choc. Non raw faves...green and blacks cherry dark choc, divine dark choc and orange bar, thorntons dark chocolate covered marzipan

    13) the "milk carton" that those little dairy milk chunks come in - I spotted those last week and actually thought the packaging was cool. The choxi bar packaging - it has little pictures on it that depict a bit about the bars (the vegan almond bar has little squirrels on it). Your little brown boxes!

    14) yep - i like simple packaging with an eco-friendly twist!

  2. i bought your mulberry/walnut chocolate at the up market last week and brought it home to canada and my mum hasn't stopped raving about it since. in answer to the questions below:

    1. How would you describe what I (Laura Coxeter) do?
    fabulous thoughtful artistic chocolate-making

2.How would you describe Coxeter's Fayre, in terms of -Confectionery/Raw/health brand/luxury brand?
    i'd say raw/luxury

3.What is important to you when you are choosing a gift- eg. Price/packaging?
in no particular order: something ethical, something different, something creative, something i can't get elsewhere, something with thought to the surrounding environment (organic!) and people (fair trade) and hopefully something that won't cause me to live on the street (ie. affordable for what it is!)

4.Does colourful packaging draw you in or do you prefer simple/minimal design?
i love the little brown boxes...simple and lovely!

    5. Do you like to see the actual product-Cellophane/clear windows/wrapping?
don't like the cellophane - wanted to buy the christmas puddings but decided on the mulberry/walnut chocolate because the packaging was so lovely.

    6. Does the fact that my product is free from pesticides/chemicals ,g.m.o's matter to you? Scale of 1-5(1 being least)
yes definitely made my decision - 5!

7.Are you prepared to pay more for luxury packaging? Even if it is for yourself and not a gift?
preferably not...although i'd pay more for biodegradable earth-friendly packaging.

8.Would you buy one of my chocolates as a gift or generally as a chocolate "snack' instead of an unhealthy chocolate choice?
    as a gift...until i earn more money :)

9.Is biodegradable/recycled packaging important to you?
    yes!

    10. Are you prepared to pay more for health-boosting superfood ingredients?
yes - and ethical ones too

    11. Is the above important to you?
    yes!

12.Please tell me your top 3 favourite chocolates
well, i'd have to say i'm pretty pretty impressed with the mulberry/walnut...my mum says she's never tasted anything like it before and is very impressed that there isn't any sugar in it. conventially? i'd go with anything fair trade dark with nuts, marzipan or something truffly in the centre.

    13. Please tell me your top 3 favourite packaging designs.
again, loved the little brown cardboard boxes with the hearts inside...anything natural looking and simple - your chocolates are beautiful, let them speak for themselves.

    14. Are you put off by too much information on packaging?
no! it's very good and makes the gift even better - we don't understand enough about the products we eat, where they come from, or what goes in them.
